Debate Spaces was founded by two Harvard graduate students, Matt Summers and Tessa Holtzman who were the #1 US debater and top female debater in North America. Since 2016 we've helped hundreds of kids (age 10-15) become great speakers, make friends around the world, and learn about important issues like climate change. Sign your student up for the Debate Spaces Academy (below)! Free for all who ask.
The Debate Spaces Academy is an online, interactive program that takes place one Saturday per month (Nov 13, Dec 18, Jan 8, Feb 5, Mar 12, Apr 9, May 14). Each session is two and a half hours starting at 9:30am US Eastern Time. Students learn from world-renowned debaters, make friends from 25+ countries, and have fun in this life-changing program.
A parent from Massachusetts said “Debate Spaces is amazing and it would be terrific if more students had the opportunity… you're all GREAT.”
A middle school student from Sri Lanka said "I liked that so many people from all over the world could just have fun, bond and have a friendly debate!"
The Harvard Graduate School of Education concluded that Debate Spaces creates a "supportive, fun, and inclusive" environment that helps students "improve their critical thinking and debate skills."
